About the 30th Annual Casey's 5K/Fun Run
Casey's Kids grew out of a Keller ISD counselor's effort to help students who were missing school because they lacked clothing. The race benefits that same program, which provides clothing, school supplies, and backpacks to students in the district. The course is certified, and the event runs alongside a family health expo.
Packet pickup happens at a local running store on Rufe Snow Drive in the days before the event. The race has been converted to a virtual format due to weather, so participants complete the distance on their own and report back to their school to be counted.
