The course heads out from downtown along the waterfront, picking up the Ruston Way Path toward Point Ruston and the Dune Peninsula Park. There are rolling hills along the way, and the route crosses the Wilson Way Bridge before turning back, giving you a wide view over the water before the return to downtown.
