About the Celebrate Veterans 5K
The course runs through Pipeline/Orange Gate Park on trail surfaces, following the Pipeline and Orange trails. It feels purposeful rather than purely competitive, given the race's connection to Project Recover, which works to locate and repatriate American service members still missing from past conflicts. Families and supporters tend to gather as much as runners do.
Packet pickup happens on race morning in the hour or so before the start. Post-race, there are snacks at the finish area.
