About the Salem Run'ucopia Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 6k/10k/15k
The course runs through Riverfront Park and crosses a bridge into Minto Brown Island Park, a sprawling urban green space that connects to several other parks along the river. The shorter distance stays closer to the park's edge in a loose loop, while the longer routes push deeper in before turning back. The furthest option leaves the pavement near the end and finishes on a dirt trail.
Early packet pickup is the evening before at Gallagher's Fitness Resources in downtown Salem. Race morning, check-in opens at the pavilion before the staggered starts. Dutch Bros brings hot chocolate and coffee for the post-race crowd, and there is a raffle and a giant chalkboard where runners write what they are grateful for.
