About the Run with Heroes 5K
This race runs through downtown Lapeer during the Lapeer Days Festival, so the streets have a different energy than a typical race morning. The course honors local EMTs and paramedics, and that purpose is felt throughout. Expect a busy, celebratory backdrop with festival crowds already gathering nearby.
Packet pickup and the start are both at the same downtown address, which keeps the morning simple. Pickup runs from early morning through just before the gun, so there is no need to make a separate trip the day before. Post-race refreshments are on hand at the finish.
