About the Bear Lake Ultra
The course loops around a camp on single-track and wider trails, with rolling hills, some grassy stretches, and a few bridge crossings. The format is open: run through the night, take a break, keep going, rack up loops at whatever pace suits you. All race profits go to a Lions Club camp for visually impaired youth.
Packet pickup the evening before includes dinner. Tent camping is available near the aid station for the weekend, though RVs are not. The aid station sits at the start and finish and is stocked seriously: soup, grilled cheese, pizza, bacon, cookies, watermelon, and a lot more. Parking lots are a short loop away, and the course passes them every lap.
