About the Gobbler Wobbler 5K and 5 Mile
The route passes through a community college campus, cuts behind a football stadium, and winds through residential neighborhoods before hitting a main road and looping back to where it started. Roads stay open during the race, so runners yield to traffic along the way. Both distances share similar ground, giving the course a through-the-town character rather than a closed park loop.
Snacks and drinks are set up at the finish, and the college serves as the hub for the start and end of the race. A portion of entry fees goes toward local schools, which is where the race's ties to the community are most visible.
