This is a youth race held at a middle school campus on the west side of Indianapolis, organized in partnership with the local high school track program. It draws kids from the surrounding township, running against the clock and each other on a short course suited to younger runners. The atmosphere is shaped by schools and families, not the open-road racing crowd.
