About the 21st Annual Run/Walk for the Paws 5k

The course runs through Paradise Coast Sports Complex on a flat, paved route that works just as well for a brisk run as for a casual walk with a dog. Plenty of people bring their dogs, which gives the whole morning a different feel than a typical road race.

Packet pickup runs the day before at the humane society's main shelter, where donations of pet food for their food pantry are also being collected. Race-morning pickup opens well before the start at the complex's check-in point.
