About the Stage Fright Walk & 5k
The race starts and finishes at Sugden Regional Park, with a walk option and a 5k on the same course. The real draw is the costumes: spooky, theatrical, absurd, all of it is welcome, and a good portion of the field shows up dressed. The event raises money for The Naples Players, a local theater company, so the crowd skews creative and the atmosphere reflects that.
The start area is the park itself, which has open space and is easy to navigate on race morning. Post-race, the music and Halloween energy carry on near the finish.
