About the Run Santa Run 5K - Westlake
The course runs through Crocker Park, an outdoor shopping and dining district in Westlake. The surroundings are retail and pedestrian streets rather than trails or parks, so the footing is paved and the route tends to be flat. Holiday costumes are common in the field, and Santa Claus is on hand at the event.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a location the organizers announce closer to race day. Race-morning pickup opens well before the start at Market Square at Crocker Park, which is also where the race begins.
