The race runs at Brunswick Lake, near a nature center on the grounds. Lakes tend to give you open sky and flat ground underfoot, with the water alongside much of the route. It is a winter race, so expect cold air and bare trees, which keeps the scenery spare and the crowd wrapped in layers.
