About the Christmas in the Valley
The course starts on a main road, then pulls you through a park along a stream and into a residential neighborhood. There is one real hill in that neighborhood, and it demands something. After that it brings you back to the fire station, where the rest of the holiday market is already underway, including a chili cook-off and vendor stalls.
Packet pickup runs the evening a few days before the race at the Liverpool Township Community Center on School Street. Race-morning check-in is at the Valley City Fire Station on Center Road, closing out before the start. That same fire station is the finish, so you end right where the festival is happening.
