About the Run Run Rudolph 5K
This one runs through the Michigan Renaissance Festival grounds after dark, which makes it unlike most holiday races. The route leaves the village, loops the perimeter of the parking lot on paved gravel roads, dips through a wooded trail section, then returns through the Christmas light display to finish where it started. Bring a headlamp; the organizers ask for it specifically.
Packet pickup is the evening before at the festival's main office, with a second window on race day at the ticket office before the start. The race finishes inside the village, and runners get admission into the HollyDazzle event. Hot chocolate and cookies are at the finish. A costume contest runs alongside the race.
