About the 2026 Gobbler Gallop 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run
The course runs out and back on closed park roads through Holly Recreation Area, so there is no vehicle traffic to worry about. Both distance options share the same route at first, with the longer option continuing past the shorter turnaround toward a cabin parking area. The terrain rolls, with genuine hills mixed in among the flatter stretches.
Packet pickup is race morning only, at the park before the start. A state park vehicle pass is required to enter the grounds, so plan for that before you arrive. Jogging strollers are welcome on the course; dogs are not, though they can watch from the sidelines.
