About the Run Like A Baron 5K
The course runs through Bay Pines War Veterans Memorial Park, a green, open space on the western edge of Saint Petersburg. The park setting keeps things shaded and calm, with room to spread out whether you are pushing a pace or just moving.
The race is put on by the Baron Boosters, a booster club tied to Saint Petersburg Catholic High School, so the energy at the start and finish tends to reflect that school community. Donations and sponsorships are part of the event's mission, so you will likely see that presence at the venue.
