About the Run for the Stacks
The course runs out from the Colonial Parkway near Jamestown Settlement and heads onto Jamestown Island before turning back. It is a flat, open stretch with the water and landscape of that historic area on either side, which makes the scenery genuinely worth looking at rather than just background noise.
After finishing, runners head to Billsburg Brewery for post-race food and drinks. The race is also part of the Williamsburg Pancake Festival, so the morning has a bit of a theme to it; costumes like pajamas or breakfast-inspired outfits are welcomed, and there are awards for those who lean into it.
