About the Busch Gardens® Fiends Frenzy 5k Run

The race runs through Busch Gardens Williamsburg while the park is dressed for its Howl-O-Scream season, so the surroundings are all themed decor and costumed scenery rather than a typical road or trail. Scare Squad performers are stationed along the course, and the route finishes in the Oktoberfest village area of the park.

Packet pickup happens the two days before at a running store in Newport News, with no mention of race-morning pickup. Parking is free, but the lot closes before the start, so arriving early matters. Spectators can watch from the start and finish area.
