About the Run for the Rose 2027
The course runs through a park inside the Texas Medical Center complex, a fitting setting for a race built around brain cancer research. The route is certified, and several distance options mean the morning works for serious runners and families alike. A Survivor Stroll runs alongside the main event, giving brain tumor patients their own moment in the day.
The post-race party draws the whole field together. Age-group and overall awards go to top finishers in the main run, and the energy after the race reflects how much the cause means to the people who show up for it.
