About the Run for the Dogs - St. Louis
The course runs through Queeny Park, and the terrain is flat enough that strollers are technically allowed, though the organizers note the ground gets uneven in spots. The draw here is that leashed dogs are welcome to run or walk the whole thing alongside their people, which shapes the crowd and the energy in a way a typical road race does not.
There is no separate packet pickup the evening before; everything happens race morning before the start. The finish line has food and treats out for both runners and their dogs.
