About the Run for the Coven
The course runs through Saratoga Spa State Park, a large wooded park with paved paths and enough tree cover to make a fall morning feel properly autumnal. Costumes are encouraged, and the crowd leans into it. All proceeds go to Wellspring, the local domestic violence and sexual assault resource organization for the area.
The race starts near the Warming Hut inside the park. There is a short kids fun run before the main race gets going, so families with young children have a reason to arrive early and get settled before the field takes off.
