About the Run for Honor
Run for Honor is a timed road race held in Lincoln Park, with proceeds going to a local organization that flies veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit memorials. The course is open to all paces, and the park setting keeps things approachable without feeling overly formal. The race benefits a cause that gives the morning some weight beyond the finish line.
Packet pickup happens on-site before the start, and on-site registration is available for late sign-ups if you arrive with enough lead time. Parking is at Nelson Center, which is also where restrooms are available. Pre-race snacks and donuts are out before the gun, and there is food and drink at the finish as well.
