About the Run Dirty Finish Clean 5k
The race runs through Edinburg Municipal Park, a city park setting that keeps things grounded and familiar. The name hints at a course that gets a little gritty underfoot, with a clean finish on the other side. It is an early morning start, so the heat is still manageable, and the park surroundings give the route a straightforward, no-surprises feel.
Packet pickup runs the two evenings before race day, so most runners can avoid the morning rush. There is also a fun run option for those who want to be part of the morning without the full distance.
