About the Roger's Bird-Day Dash
The race takes place on the grounds of the Roger Tory Peterson Institute, a nature and art organization in Jamestown. Several distance options make it work for different runners, from a kids' run to a longer road race. The course stays on or near the institute's property, so the surroundings have a natural, campus-like feel rather than a street-race one.
After the race, the institute hosts a gathering with food trucks, lawn games, and face painting on the grounds. Registration opens race morning, so there is no need to pick up a packet the night before.
