This race runs on Thanksgiving morning through downtown Jamestown, starting at the YMCA and finishing near the hotel on the same street. The course is a straightforward out-and-back along a flat, urban corridor. It is a memorial race, held in honor of a local woman who died aboard a hijacked flight, and that history gives the morning a quieter, more purposeful feel than most holiday runs.

Packet pickup and the post-race awards ceremony are both held at the DoubleTree hotel, just a short walk from the start. The YMCA is the hub on race morning, so plan to arrive there first. Proceeds support scholarship funds at both the YMCA and a local school district.
