About the Rodeo Clown Roundup
The race starts and finishes at Karbach Brewing Company, a craft brewery on Houston's northwest side. The course is flat and runs through the surrounding streets. The costume culture is real here: western wear and rodeo clown getups are common enough that showing up in regular running gear feels like the odd choice.
Post-race, the brewery's biergarten, restaurant, and patio are already open and running. There is beer for those who want it, brunch available nearby, and a bingo game going in the biergarten. Packet pickup happens the evening before at the same brewery.
