About the Rice Festival 5K Run

The course runs through the heart of the Rice Festival grounds, starting and finishing near the main festival platform. It is a road race set in the middle of an active street fair, so the atmosphere comes from the event around it as much as from the runners themselves. Cold drinks and fresh fruit are at the finish.

Packet pickup and race-morning registration both happen at the start area before the gun goes off, so there is no separate pre-race trip to make. The race benefits the cross country and track program at Northside Christian School.
