About the Reduce, Reuse, ReRun: 5k Earth Day Pub Run
This one starts as a regular weekly pub run out of Fleet Feet and gets a chip-timed twist for Earth Day. The course is the usual route the group already knows, so the feel is familiar but with a clock running. Bibs come from past events, and no two people's gear will match, which is the point.
Before the run, there is a gear swap: bring a gently used piece of running clothing or an accessory, leave it before the start, and browse what others brought after you finish. Old worn-out athletic shoes can be dropped off in exchange for a discount coupon toward a new pair at the store. New Balance brings demo shoes to try during the event.
