About the Red, White and Blue Half Marathon - Houston
The race starts and finishes at Kingdom Builders Center in Houston, with several distance options spread across the same course, so shorter-distance runners and longer ones share the same trail. The course runs through natural terrain, and a DJ is set up at the finish area, announcing runners as they come in and keeping the energy up while awards are handed out.
Snacks and water are available at the finish under the race rally tent. Aid stations are out on the course as well. Top finishers in the longer distances compete for a Bigfoot trophy, and overall and age group awards are recognized at a live ceremony before everyone heads home.
