About the Rahr Brewing Company Oktoberfest 5K Social Run/Walk
This one starts and finishes at the Flying Saucer in downtown Fort Worth, a bar that clearly has no objection to runners showing up sweaty. The route heads out through downtown streets, untimed, with pace crew members who happen to be carrying beer as their qualification. Dogs on leashes are welcome on the patio after.
Breakfast tacos from a local taco truck come out mid-morning, and Rahr draft beer is part of the post-run spread for those of age. The morning also doubles as early packet pickup for the larger Oktoberfest race coming later in the season. Games and a raffle round out the back half of the morning.
