About the Rahr Brewing Company Oktoberfest 5K Social Run/Walk
This one starts and finishes at a bar in downtown Fort Worth, the Flying Saucer, which tells you most of what you need to know about the vibe. The route goes through downtown streets, untimed, with pace leaders who happen to be carrying beer. Breakfast tacos from a local taco vendor are waiting when you get back, along with draft beers from the host brewery.
Check-in opens before the group start, and there is a window to arrive a bit later and still join on your own. Dogs on leashes are welcome on the patio. Games and a raffle happen later in the morning, so there is reason to hang around after you finish.
