About the Race the Sunset 5k
Race the Sunset runs in a park outside Chesterton, and the premise is built into the name: finish before the sun goes down and you earn something different from those who don't. The park charges an entry fee at the gate, though showing your bib or registration confirmation gets you through without paying.
Packet pickup runs at Extra Mile Fitness Company in Valparaiso across the few days before the race, with race-day pickup available on site as well. Your bib at the gate doubles as your entry pass, so picking up early saves a step.
