About the Duneland Half Marathon and 5K

The course starts and finishes at Dogwood Park and runs primarily on the Duneland bike trail, so the surface is paved and the route stays away from heavy traffic. It is part of a regional race series, and results come through by text and email as you finish. Awards go deep into the age groups for both distances.

Road closures restrict how you can reach the start and finish area, so check the approach before you leave home. Packet pickup is available the couple of days before the race at a running store in Valparaiso, with on-site pickup opening early on race morning.
