About the Race for Glory 5K Fun Run & 1-Mile Walk
The course runs through Buckeye Woods Park, so expect trees and a park setting rather than road and pavement the whole way. The race is put together by a group of local organizations, including Special Olympics and the Knights of Columbus, which shapes who shows up and why people are out there.
Packet pickup and registration open race morning before the start, so you do not need to make a separate trip the day before. Awards go to overall leaders and to age group winners across a wide spread of categories.
