About the Puyallup Valley Fall Hops Harvest 5K
The course runs a multi-loop route through downtown Puyallup, starting and finishing at a brewery. Between loops, there are tastings of local fall beers and ciders, so the race has a built-in pause at the end of each pass. The surroundings are urban and walkable, and the autumn setting in the valley gives it a seasonal feel.
The race starts and finishes at Firemind Brewing. A food truck with burgers and beignets is on-site after the run. ID is required at check-in to receive a tasting wristband, since the beer and cider sampling is limited to those of legal drinking age. No dogs are allowed.
