About the Purple Stride 5k
Purple Stride is a road race held at Tres Lagos in McAllen, organized by two local run clubs to raise awareness for epilepsy and honor a local child living with Dravet syndrome. The course runs through that development, and the morning includes live music and wellness vendors at the finish area.
Packet pickup is the evening before at a pilates studio in Edinburg, with bib and participant information ready to collect. The start area opens well before the gun, so arriving with time to spare for parking and warm-up is a good idea.
