This race runs through Edinburg Municipal Park in honor of those lost to SUDEP, a rare and serious complication of epilepsy. The cause is front and center: proceeds go toward a campus clothing resource for students and scholarships in technology fields. It draws people running in memory of someone, and people who simply want to show up for the cause.
