About the Project 13.1
Rockland Lake State Park is the draw here. The course has a reputation among half marathon runners as one of the faster routes around, and the race is built around that idea: waves are staggered, pacers are on the course, and runners can arrange their own bottle service along the way. The setup is deliberate and oriented toward people chasing a personal best.
The structure of the morning is tighter than a typical road race. Waves keep the field from bunching, and the pacing support means you can lock into a target and hold it. If you show up without a time goal, you may feel a little out of place; most people here have a number in mind.

The Project 13.1 has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
