About the 5 Mile Turkey Trot for The Marisa Fund
The course runs through Rockland Lake State Park, so you are on park roads and paths with the lake nearby for most of the route. It is a Thanksgiving morning race, which means the crowd at the start tends to be large and the air tends to be cold. The race benefits a childhood cancer fund, and that purpose is woven into how the morning feels.
Packet pickup happens over the few days before the race at a mall in West Nyack, on the second floor. There is no race-morning registration, so sorting out your bib ahead of time is the move. If someone else needs to grab your bib for you, that is allowed.

The 5 Mile Turkey Trot for The Marisa Fund has been held every year since at least 2014. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
