About the 2026 Pittsburgh Penguins 6.6K Run and Family Walk

The course starts and finishes at PPG Paints Arena, crossing a couple of bridges and passing through a tunnel along the way. It is a Pittsburgh street run tied to the Penguins organization, with the finish line back at the arena where Penguins alumni are on hand when runners come in.

The start line is on Fifth Avenue outside the arena, so parking and orientation around the building are straightforward if you know that area. Packet pickup details are set to be announced closer to race weekend, and packets can be picked up on behalf of others. There is also a virtual option for those who cannot make the trip in person.
