About the Piedmont - Cartersville Breast Cancer Boo Run 5K
The race runs through Hamilton Crossing Park on a flat route, and the Halloween timing means costumes are very much part of the morning. Net proceeds go toward breast cancer patients at a local oncology center, so the crowd tends to run heavy on survivors, supporters, and people in creative running gear.
Packet pickup happens the afternoon before at the Hope Center lobby on the Piedmont Cartersville campus, which is the easier option. Race-morning pickup is available if you need it, and parking inside the park is free with plenty of room.
