About the Cartersville 10K and 5K
Both courses start and finish on the track inside Dellinger Park, so you cross the line feeling like you just ran a stadium finish. The routes head out onto open country roads past farmland and alongside the Etowah Indian Mounds before looping back to the park. The terrain is road, with a gentle roll here and there but nothing that will slow you down.
Packet pickup is the day before at Big Peach Running Co. in Cartersville, with race-morning registration available as well. The awards ceremony follows shortly after the finish, with deep age group coverage and a separate wheelchair division on both courses.
