About the Phillippi Shores 5k - 1mile fun run

This race is a school fundraiser, run for the benefit of a local International Baccalaureate school and its students. The route goes through the streets near the school. After the main event wraps up, a Family Fun Zone opens with games, face painting, and jump houses, and there is a recovery spread of snacks and drinks near the finish.

Packet pickup runs on the two evenings before race day at Phillippi Shores Elementary, the same school the race benefits, with race-morning pickup available as well. The school parking lot and surrounding area serve as the race hub, so arriving a little early gives you time to get oriented before the start.
