About the Pedal to the Medal 5K & Fishing Derby
The course runs around Gross Lake in Wooster, a park setting that keeps things scenic and relatively flat. The race pairs with a fishing derby happening alongside it, so the lakeside atmosphere is active and a little unusual for a morning road race. There is chicken barbecue at the finish, served by donation.
