About the Paulding Young Life Jingle Jog 5K
The course runs out and back on the Silver Comet Trail, starting from the Chamber of Commerce trailhead. The trail is paved and tree-lined, with no real climbing to speak of. Holiday costumes are part of the scene, and the atmosphere leans toward Santa hats and elf ears as much as finish times.
Packet pickup opens the morning of the race at the Chamber of Commerce. The evening before, a local coffee shop in downtown Dallas hosts an early registration option. After the race, the city's annual Christmas parade runs through downtown, so it is worth sticking around if you have family in tow.
