About the Circles in the Park 5K

The course runs through Clinton Nature Preserve on trails that local cross-country teams use for their meets. That gives it a proper trail feel, rooted dirt underfoot and the kind of terrain that asks you to pay attention. A shorter fun run option runs the same morning, and leashed dogs are welcome on the course.

Registration and check-in open early on race morning, and there is an optional walkthrough of the course before the start. Chipped bibs handle timing. Post-race, there are snacks and drinks at the finish, and an awards ceremony wraps up the morning not long after. One small touch: you can pick a song to queue up at the finish line for your crossing.
