About the Patriot Run

The course runs through Mountview Cemetery, which gives the race an unusual and fitting setting. The route passes through the veteran sections of the grounds, and that context is hard to ignore. Proceeds go toward veteran funeral services and upkeep of those sections, so the purpose of the event is right there underfoot the whole time.

Packet pickup happens near the start and finish line on race morning, and parking is inside the cemetery itself. Entrance is through the back gate off Industrial Ave, since the other entrances are closed for the event. There are door prizes drawn at the finish.
