About the Montana Cup

The Montana Cup is a cross-country team competition, not a road race or an endurance event. Runners from across the state gather to race over open terrain, competing for a traveling trophy that goes to the winning team. The course is designed to feel like genuine cross-country, with the kind of ground that rewards agility as much as fitness.

Check-in opens before the races begin, with women going first and men following, then an awards and refreshments gathering to close out the afternoon. The event is hosted by a local running club, with a pair of co-directors running the show.
