About the Catch Me if You Can!
This is a staggered-start winter race where slower runners head out first and faster runners chase them down, with everyone predicted to cross the finish at roughly the same time. The fastest runners leave last, so the whole field compresses as it goes, and no one is simply running away from the pack.
Hot drinks are waiting at the finish, and the atmosphere after tends to be the kind where people stick around to see how the chasing shook out.

The Catch Me if You Can! has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
