About the Parkie’s 5K

The course is flat and runs through the neighborhood around the Bolingbrook Recreation and Aquatic Complex, which also serves as the start and finish. The park district puts this on, so the morning has that public-rec feel: families with strollers alongside people running for time, all starting from the same parking lot. Age group awards go deep into the field for the run.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the recreation complex, with same-day registration opening early on race morning. The building is the hub for everything, so there is not much to hunt down when you arrive.
